With the summer in full swing the Newport Neighbourhood Watch Association exhibition trailer has been out working with the local police and other agencies almost every week and had great success creating new Watches in and around Newport.

Also in the Gwent area, Cwmbran Police asked the Association to help for one day in the town centre.   This resulted in 14 new watches being set up and over 20 more people expressing an interest.

Two days at the Caerleon Arts Festival resulted in six more watches in Caerleon, and with more events in August the Association is hoping to set a record for the number of new watches this year!
